As someone who, only weeks ago, abandoned Olympus in favour of Canon (could just have easilty been Nikon - or sony, I guess), I am not excited.

520 is a great camera but has serious limitations that made it no longer viable for me. Mostly, crap high iso perfomance.

4/3 is going to be far noiser than the Canikon crops.

m 4/3 - don't see this will be any different.

Just wondering thoe, were you going by the e520 vs the 40D in terms of noise? I believe the 520 is in a much lower league than the 40D...
