    Best software to make a homepage

    Does anyone have any recommendations on a good software program to make a simple website?

    Well i asume it's for photography, You have lightroom you can play with that

    There is also a lot of good freeware Web Site Creation software.

    Type it into google, it brings up several free applications.

    the best software to create a website is already installed on a pc notepad. have a look at html coding. its suprisingly easy and when you learn to use CSS it gets even easier

    first thing you have to think about is where are you hosting it. Some web hosts will provide tools to build a homepage very easily and that might be the way to go. Also, things might work a little different if it is hosted on Unix or Windows servers. Often these day you can get a host which will provide all sorts of applications like bulliten boards, picture galleries, wikis, blogs etc, so really you need to tell us what you would like to have on the website? If it is just photos then a subscription to smugmug.com or similar might be the way to go as you can customize the page to loook how you want, but have all the photo capabilities.
