    there is also adobe gamma, which comes with PS etc. Just look in your 'Control Panel" and run it.

    w/o hardware, you can only change gamma
    with hardware, you fix color casts.

    for photographers, surely (1) isn't enuf
    anyway, a huey is only $140 and has ambient.
