Ok CS4 been out for a while now and I see people are using it, is it worth the upgrade?, what are the improvements ? and do you use them?
I'm happy with CS3 ...but then again I was happy with CS2, PS7 etc

I've used both.
Nothing super better is CS4; slightly better user interface; some tweaks; make sure you have latest graphics driver and patches for CS4.

Yeah, it doesnt offer much to make you go WOW. It seems to run faster for some things and I like the new layout (access to levels adjustments etc are faster). But in the end my workflow isn't really any different than using CS3.

Cheers guys, just the feedback I was after I think I'll hang in with CS3
The adjustments panel is the biggest change and i would say a major change. It dosen't do anything you couldn't before but it can all be done on a layer. So you can adjust levels, go B&W, change hue, posterise etc all on layers and still have the original file in the layer set unchanged. I like it down load the trial and have a play.
It's not about the equipment it's where you point it!
