Editing the GPS data in Aperture 2

I've hit a brick wall - I cant seem to work out how to add GPS data to an image in Aperture 2. I know what the data should be and can always copy it from another image but cant seem to get the info into the image I want.

I created an image from 6 images stitched together and whilst the original images all had GPS data the final image didn't get the GPS EXIF data so I want to copy the data across to the image.

I've tried using Maperture but this won't work on a TIFF image - JPG only I suppose.

I had actually downloaded that but the demo didnt seem to work. Then I read some info on it today at work, about it having a backup data folder which wasnt actually necessary.

When I got home this evening I changed the prefs and it worked just fine - thanks for the tip.
