Laptop help Macbook or what ?

im looking at spending 1500-1900 on a new lappy. i'd mainly use the laptop for photography, audio and internet surfing( aka surfing ap) and the odd game.

my original thoughts were either the new macbook aluminium 2ghz or the 2.4ghz 13inch screen (depends if the price is right)

i have a 22inch benq screen for when i really need to see the image so the 13inch screen isnt a problem the way i figure if im getting a laptop which are ment to be portable i dont want a screen bigger that 15 or 16 inch

or something else.....but im not sure what else could temp me away from mac's any self reviews or ideas on a lappy welcome!

its a great machine, no issue's so far with mine... very happy camper.
4gb ram highly recommended..

Mac would be great.....except ide think you would blow your budget!!!
