    CS4 Help

    Hey Guys,

I have a problem... it seems fundamental, but i can't seem to work it out..

I have MBP, CS4 and both are new to me....

I've edited a raw file in cs4, saved as a tiff now i want a jpg version, but when i go to save as there is no option to choose jpg????

It is frustrating, i have found a way round it but it takes so so so much longer, and figure that such a simple thing should be possible another way...

The way round i've found i export for web or mobile devices, but as i said it takes ages...

    Any help would be fantastic...

    Cheers team

Yep. JPG is for making image files as small as possible. If rather than using file save as, you use Save for web, you can go straight from 16bit as save for web changes thaat on the fly.

When using save for web this will reduce the file size even more than save as, due the the fact save for web also removes all EXIF data.
