    New Fleabay wireless trigger/shutter capture

I got my cheapo $35 wireless flash trigger yesterday.

In most shots the camera seems to capture the trailing curtain as in some cases 1/3 to 1/2 the shot is completely black frame.

I assume this is just an issue with the trigger as it never happens any other time.

Nothing I have done resolves the issue.

It happens at all shutter speeds, My default X-Sync speed is 1/180.

    Any ideas?

It almost seems like the trigger is not sychronised with the shutter, lagging a little. We had a similar problem a few years ago with the introduction of electrinic welding helmets. The sensors that make the screen darken when the arc is struck wasn't responding quick enough, which was causing the operator to get a nasty flash to their eyes.

    An honest C+C please!

My camera wont allow any other speed than 1/180 in x-sync mode, and it won't recognize the basic hot shoe transmitter in Av or any other mode so not sure if this will actually be useful to me.

Not sure???? I'll have to read the manual. Things are crazy here right now when I get back from the sunshine state I'll work on it.

I'd say it has to do with the delay between the camera and the wireless flash.
