Can anyone recommend a good monitor calibration software? I am using a Samsung SyncMaster 226BW LCD monitor. Have started looking at the Spyder software, but have no idea which one I would need?This is confusing as a lens purchase!

Hi Michelle, I purchased a Sypder2 express a couple of weeks for around $140.00 and noticed the difference, guess it really depends on your budget.
C&C most welcome, please if reworks are made post what adjustments etc have been made so I can learn from them

I have the same monitor and did mine recently with a Spyder2 Pro. It has made a massive difference. The white balance was way out compared to what is recommended.
Which version? No idea. I used the pro, as it was what was available for me to borrow!
(BTW, its hardware and software!)

Thanks we ordered the spyder pro, hopefully it will arrive today. Tried calibrating it with the software that came with the monitor - pass on that idea! Sigh. I guess at some stage I can expect to stop spending money and start earning some. LOL can't I?
