AFAIK, olympus is the ONLY camera manufacturer to have OEM housings for their DSLR cameras so if OEM gear is a factor then the E520 is a serious contender.

i own the olympus e-520. i havnt used to for motorsports but i think it will be great it has three options of horizontal panning, vertical panning and sideways horizontal panning focus's. which allm would come in handy for motorsports. how much was your water housing. do you just have the olympous waterhousing ?

i currently own the e-520...and to be honest it is a bang for your buck camera...their pro-sumer lens range is good...well bang for your buck...their pro lenses are all f2.8-f3.5 which gives you a lot of room to play with. I have mainly shot weddings(for fun) with it and my mate are all shocked at the quality of my photos...

I agree. The 520 is a great camera for the money.

And to tell the truth, I am glad that I have a camera that is not just like everyone else's

I think that I used the 45-150 kit lens for all those shots.

I think you need the E-410/20/50 for the underwater housing
