Oh dear Paul, I think your tree needs a good feed of Christmas ham and turkey.
Haven't decided whether we will put ours up or not, so at least you're one step ahead of us.
    Cheers, Lani.

Hmmmm my tree pretty much same as last years & year before that.
Pretty fussy, on colour scheme, what goes on it etc

Mind you having to rearrange lounge & its already driving me insane, count down on for the 1st Jan, I will be up @ the crack of dawn putting it all away

Christmas decoration- is this first for 2008?

Still learning the basics. Took this by available light then cropped big time. Still came out ok, I think

I merged the above into this thread so we don't have a zillion decoration threads.

As for the photo - not bad - but - maybe crop so the soldier is more to the left and get the light fully (on the right) in frame would help.
Maybe lift the levels (brightness) a bit as well.

Here's ours. Took this shot the other night. No pressies only empty stockings under the tree at the moment. Hard to take the shot as I needed the boys to keep still as to not blur the photo. They did pretty well considering.

Excitement plus today at our place. The grandkids arrived, these two were born and raised in Denmark and it is their first 'hot' Christmas.
First to go up was the dancing singing santa which amused Gustav no end.
Then the helping with the tree raising.
Finally the first pic of the tree. BTW the train was derailed 50 times before I pulled the battery.
Early shots and at max 600 pix.

I seen how mudman added one of his so I thought I'd have a go as well. I haven't done still shots for a while. So it was good to have a play.
    Thank you Deb.

Finally, St. Nicolas has gone (a local thing, bishop of Myra, long story...), and people are slowly getting into X-mas here. I decided to put up my little tree at my desk today, and since it's just a silly thing, here's my X-mas wish too

After the youngest of the kidlets decided to push the tree over and everything fell off the first time we thought we'd try again lol This is the first time in 4 years we've actually had a tree at home so it was a pretty exciting experience for the kids
