    AI Denoise in Lightroom

On Sunday when I started Lightroom, it announced very proudly that it now incorporated an AI De-noise option so I thought I would give it a try.

This image used Lightroom AI Denoise option at the default "50%"

This was from Topaz Denoise using the LowLight option (with default settings):

One thing I noticed was that the LR de-noise option took a LOT longer than using Topaz (10 minutes for LR, and about 2 minutes for Topaz)

    here is the original raw:

The LR version look better than the AI one - crisper, without noise.
I suspect the "Preserve Detail" setting in AI was set low?

To my eye the Topaz version is crisper.
