    Hi, Manda.
Give us a bit more info, like (main) reason(s) for upgrade and type of shooting you do.
What lenses do you have already? What sort of budget, and whether you want to go
    DSLR still or mirrorless?
    CC, Image editing OK.

I have had the Nikon D90 for about 10 years and want to upgrade. I take wildlife photos I also take a lot of still and video of opals. My husband and I are opal miners. I think dslr I don’t know anything about mirrorless so don’t know if I want that or not.

The last Nikon dSLR is the 2020 Nikon D780 full frame. I'd get that if all your Nikkor lenses are FX. It should carry you over for as long as your 2008 Nikon D90.

If most of your Nikkor lenses are DX then check out the last Nikon DX camera, 2018 Nikon D3500.

Although Nikon came out with a stellar mirrorless Z mount 800mm f/6.3 lens. The ideal length for small or far wildlife.

Table below provides a side by side comparison why it's relatively light weight and relatively inexpensive.

Manda, I'll get back to you soon with some info...

    - - - Updated - - -

Here are two links for you to look through. One is from Nikon on DSLRs only, and the other from J&B HiFi
    with prices.

Have a look at your lenses and see whether they are DX or FX, that stands for crop-frame lenses and
full frame lenses, resp. If you have only DX lenses, then you will need to look for a crop-frame camera
as a replacement. There are crop-frame cameras in both DSLR and mirrorless.

    Links:
Nikon DSLRs (here in Oz): https://www.nikon.com.au/products/ca...ensorFormat=DX
    J&B HiFi: https://www.jbhifi.com.au/collection.../nikon-cameras

Click the camera for more info.
