    It's been months because I have been investigating this is detail.

    Turns out it's nothing to do with the curtains.
    The blame lies with the cows. Same as for climate change.

    I do my bit by eating them, to reduce the scale of the problem

    It was so remiss of me not to have mentioned the recent Southern Hemisphere Spring Equinox (SHSE for short
    but I prefer the long version )

    It marks the fastest rate of change in daylight/night duration. Now, for us in the SH, the lengthening daylight
    is slowing down again

    Of course, all this daylight talk is academic with the effects of the persistent La Niña
