    Where to find models/subjects?

I usually shoot a lot of landscapes, astro and some macro now, but what I really suck at is photographing humans. Either portraits or composed in a scene, my shots just come out very boring.

Is there any classes or groups around that both provide a model and guidance? Or somewhere people list their need for shots that I could use for practice as I improve?

There used to be a website called model mayhem. haven't looked for years to see if it still exists. But it links models to photographers etc. Maybe a photographer will take you in and help guide you. Some camera clubs have portrait days. So worth checking clubs near you. Some photographers also do workshops, you might find one near you also.
