    Lens/camera carry handle

I have wanted to find a way to use my Canon 100-400 f4.5-5.6 lens despite the weight. Although it can be a bit of a pain over a few kilometres it is none the less a beautiful lens.
After a look at the options a decent carry strap and a carry handle seemed to be the most likely possibility. Coupled with a Peak Design lanyard system.
I mounted a modified scope rail to an Arca clamp. This is then mounted to the Really Right Stuff tripod foot. So far it seems as though it should work.
Practical test next, few kilometres and some lovely bird photos will offer an honest opinion.
I will follow this up shortly.
    Regards, Journeyman

Camera rest, a method to reduce shake

    Good day,
Using an unwanted, now modified, target stock I have put together a camera shoulder and hand rest. Multicoloured to ensure it is seen as friendly and a pattern of sorts to reduce the chance of upsetting birds with bright patches of colour.

I think it should work well.
    Regards Journeyman

Thanks Belly. All good I hope. The higher water in some places is keeping the waders away. No sweat really they will be back, then photo overload
