Do you use Flickr?
Technically, Yes. But why are you asking, or is it just a quick poll?
What's the difference between "Used to" and "No" options?
"Technically" because I have an account with about 6 pics... - and that's about it.
Do I like it? - No, because it's a bane/pain to use.

Used to, never have.

What do you find that causes you a problem?
1. Yes.
I dont use it much these days, as I have SmugMug.
I find it very easy to use, just upload a photo click on the Share arrow, BBCode and what size you want, Copy the BBCode and paste on your Post.
Am... What is hard about that
^ and ^ When I do that, nothing happens.
Tried a few times. Might try again... by and by...
Yes and like Mary Anne find it very easy to use not only to post on sites like this but also to set up private albums and just email links to relatives overseas.
Mike
Yes I sort of do. If you could call uploading about 20 photos in over 10 years I also have a Smugmug account which I prefer to use.
^As explained, I can't load photos to there.
I know how easy it is to link photos from there to here,
as I'm occasionally telling people here.
Have enjoyed using Flickr for 5 years now not that it is really a marketing tool for my type of photography, may set up a smug mug account for selling photos online not sure if Mary-Anne or Bear use smug mug to sell photos yet.
Am enjoying the many Flickr groups with people with similar photographic interests particularly with macro photography there. Not really a place to learn new tricks so much like here at Ausphotgraphy with such a broad base of knowledge.
With Flickr many pros are marketing their photo tours and workshops there if people want to learn their techniques so may be fine for people with the time and resources.
Personally hope Ausphotography continues to give people the inspiration and leg up with hard won knowledge and techniques that is so generously shared by the many capable photographers here.
cheers Nick
Hi Nick No I do not use SmugMug for selling images, who would want to buy my Macro Bugs
Though I do have a few Birds, lots of Flowers and even a few landscapes, and now my Dog.
Up the top of your flickr page RIGHT SIDE there is a CLOUD click on that.
It will take you to the next page click on Choose Photos Or Videos to Upload,
Next page on the Left side it will have lots of places your photos can be stored Click on where it is.
If in a folder Click on that to find the photo, click on the photo the file name or number will be down the bottom of the page left side, bottom right side CLICK on OPEN.
That will bring you back to the flickr page, left side check to see it's the correct photo if it is then up the top on the right side of that same page click on UPLOAD 1 Photo
In the centre Click on Upload to where ever you want it to go.. Mine is Public and they go into my Photostream, though I do have 4 Albums not much in them though.
Mary Anne interesting re smug mug, you are given the distinct impression people come to the site to buy images may be better off setting up my own web page with help from my son one day.
Mary Anne you have some wonderful photos, would showcasing the top 20 to 30 of your best photos work re selling on a site like smug mug?, could be pleasantly surprised,
cheers Nick

Thanks, guys. Been there, done that, muffiner, nuffin.
Will get on to Flickr about it as soon as... - I drum up the interest again
Total of about 6 images. I managed that quite a while ago (~ 1 year) and haven't been able to
upload any since. I (seem to remember that) this occurred after I tried to upload a small video.
Ta for that, Brigitte. It motivates me some to actually bovver to contact them.
