    CameraPro

I am looking to buy a new Oly M1 body, and CameraPro are advertising comprtitive prices. They appear to be fairly new in the marketplace. I am wondering if anyone has had experience with this firm over an extended period.

Thanks Am, I did search that, and the address is as in their advert which shows a showroom in Brisbane. A friend has dealt there but only once and recently.

If this is the same CameraPro as in Queen St and Newstead then I can recommend them. I have purchased Think Tank bags, Gitzo tripods and a Tamron 24-70mm from them over the last 6 or 7 years and I have not had any issues.

When I have visited both locations, the staff have been friendly and helpful.

    Cheers

Thank you for this reply Dennis, it it is good to know that they have been trading for that period, and you have had a good experience.

I've bought a body when travelling through Brisvegas several years ago and subsequently a lens by mail order.

    No trouble to deal with.

Living in the bush mail order is a viable purchasing option and they are one I would check out for price/availability.

    Only one recent transaction...

Placed online lens order PM Christmas day (as the Constabulary like to put it: "alcohol may have been a factor")
Received email next day saying order processed (ie Boxing Day)
Received email next day (27/12) saying order dispatched (with tracking no.)
    Order arrived (Sydney) 28/12

Their pricing seems very competitive - I paid $444 (currently $499) and delivery was included. Prices elsewhere (non-grey) seem to range from $599 - $799.

I'd have no hesitation in using them again...

    Cheers.

CameraPro have been around quite a while. There was a store across the road from where I work when we 1st moved our office to Fortitude valley in 2012. That store has now moved to New Farm, so I can't pop in and drool at lunch time anymore. I got my Sigma 105 Macro lens from them. I would definitely by from CameraPro again.
