    mess makers

    these sulphur crested come into our pear tree to graze, i think
    all they seem to do is take a taste and drop the pear and take the next one
    the result is shown in pic #2. this took about 5 minutes to make
    i suppose i shouldn't complain too much.
    i got a reasonable shot of 1 of them, and a bird in flight

    This looks a bit familiar as some lorikeets found our apple tree this year.

    Where I'm staying at the moment the cockatoos bombard you with pinecones. Quite dangerous actually, but they're enjoying themselves so much it's hard to take offence.

    In season these SCC's do me a favour by stripping the outer green covering off macadamia nuts.Unfortunately the birds remain virtually hidden. At least yours have the decency to to show themselves for a BIF
