Lake Dove access in the evening

Evening all,

i'll be visiting Cradle Mountain in the next few weeks and was hoping to get some silhouette shots of CM under the stars

Does anyone know if the gates to the car park closed (i.e the boom gate)?

Seven years later, we're bringing along 2 kids for the adventure ...

The visitor centre is 2km from the lake and where the parking is. They should be able to advise.
