Photographing from the Eureka Skydeck

I am hoping to shoot some sunset / night photos from the Eureka Skydeck in the next few weeks. I'll have my 5D Mk IV + a 16-35mm wide angle lens + a tripod.

Any suggestions on the best way to block out reflections? I was there a few years ago during the day and the reflections were very prominent.

And any other advice will be very welcome.

get the lens as close as possible to the window
i assume there will be glass involved

Also use a CPL.

Thanks Mudman. If I remember correctly, the glass on on an angle and slopes away, and hence is hard to reach. But I'll give it a go. I might also bring along a large-ish black cloth and try to use that to block out the reflections.

I did a web search and came across the article below, which specifically discusses photographing at the Eureka SkyDeck. This starts about halfway through the article. The secret is a small tripod (eg a gorillapod) and a dark jacket (or other black cloth). I have a dark grey jacket so I'll try that.
