    Plant ID please

    We brought a plant as a Christmas present for a friend a couple of weeks back. That's the dark unusual plant in the photo.
    Then the green thing started growing. It's rather unusual. Does any one have any idea what this green plant is?

    Not a clue Mark - sorry.
    Looks unrelated to the succulent - possibly something that has got into the soil in the nursery.
    Looks almost like one of Rev's unusual orchids.

    Mark not a lot of detail however it does look to be a type of legume, need a more detailed photo of the flower really.
