    If any members are interested, I just found out about a photo competition for nature-loving photographers :

    In the terms and conditions,
    "All photographs should accurately reflect the subject matter and the scene as it appeared. Photos that have been digitally altered beyond standard optimisation (removal of dust, cropping, reasonable adjustments to exposure, colour and contrast, etc.) will be disqualified. "
    How would they know whats been done there??

    Generally, they would require the RAW image, at least for finalists.

    For removing dust spots it would be ok.
