What happens when you blow a bubble in freezing conditions.

A photographer has used the cold conditions in the USA to show us what happens when you blow a soap bubble outside in the freezing conditions the USA is presently experiencing.

And the result is mesmerising: http://nbc4i.com/2017/12/29/watch-co...rozen-bubbles/

There are many incredible photos and time lapse videos of frozen bubbles on the net.

I keep meaning to give this a go. Mornings below -7°C are not unusual here, but the trouble is bed is a much better option when it is so cold outside
Alternatively, I've been meaning to blow a bubble onto the top of a mug and put it in the freezer to see what happens.

Rick, saw this on Instagram yesterday. Quite amazing and wonderful.

Does this work at 42.7°C? That's what it was here yesterday!

Fortunately going to be much cooler here today, but a mate in Sydney tells me that they are going to cop it today.

No. I tried it when it got to 36 here at my place yesterday, and no luck. Though it gave my Labradors something to chase. I am thinking a trip up Mt Wellington in the middle of winter might be on the 'to do' list this coming winter.

That's amazing. Not likely to happen here at the moment though.
