Canon new product orgy

Canon has gone lens crazy. And not just lenses. Announced today:

• EF 85/1.4L IS
• TS-E 50/2.8L Macro
• TS-E 90/2.8L Macro
• TS-E 135/4L Macro
• EOS M100 mirrorless camera (if anyone cares)
• Macro Twin-Lite MT-26EX-RT flash

The 85/1.4 looks like a beauty, but dear at around two thousand a pop.

The old macro twin-lite is ancient, so due for replacement, but a first-glance look at the new one suggests that it is very similar. As for the TS-E macros, well, they could be interesting.

The Canon TS E 24mm is the only Canon lens I now use as it is unique. The new TS E macros, look very interesting. The major fault with the previous versions was the lack of macro. But, they are very heavy and expensive.
