    Rain!

Now I don't exactly live in the driest place in Oz, but the rain here is getting a little over the top (literally in some places). We've had 280mm in the last 48 hours and the BOM says that is just the start. Lets hope it is spread evenly as up to 50mm an hour is manageable. 100mm in 30mins on saturated soil and full rivers can do some serious damage. Lismore just had it's biggest flood for 50 years, so let's hope the levy doesn't overflow this time. Hopefully not as this is coming from the east and not the north, though there will be flooding somewhere near.

Hope you folks are okay, it has been quite a deluge in Brisbane but nothing like you describe.

    Cheers

We'll be ok as we live on the side of the valley, not the bottom. It has stopped raining at the moment, but there is more on the radar. It's always difficult to tell how much as the rain seems to form right on top of us. The rules are, don't go driving through flood water, so we won't.

Our pool went up approx. 50mm which is a fair bit of rain for this time of the year. Another 50mm to come on Tuesday according to the wether forecast.

    Cheers
