Geez!, how's that price?...what sound does a crow make? (thanks Graham - )
If you replace the 'W' with 'T' in When, Where and What, you get the answer for each question.
CC more than welcome. Remember, I can't be offended so go for it. Feel free to post your ideas with an edit if you have time. Thanks in advance.

It's only money Am and you can't take it with you to that big Σ convention in the sky.

    A $10,000 laptop from ... er .... ASUS?

    That's like a twin-turbo V12 4WD $750,000 sports car from Kia. Bit cheeky isn't it?

It's not as if they are even a Tier One manufacturer. It reminds me of the 1980s when Mitsubishi started making those weird special edition Starion things with go-faster bits bolted on all over them and pretending they were just as good as Porsches and Ferraris. But I cut Mitsubishi a little slack as I don't think they ever actually believed their own PR. With ASUS, they probably do believe it.

(Sorry. Didn't mean to be rude about ASUS.)

    (Well, OK. I'm not sorry.)

(And, well, yes I did mean to be rude. Honestly, if you were going to blow 10 big ones on a laptop, why would you be looking at an ASUS when you could have a Thinkpad. Or your choice of several other Tier One products?)

Yikes! If I had that sort of money to splash around I'd be getting https://buywacom.com.au/products/cre...-16-512gb.html, even though my philosophy is definitely "you can't take it with you to that big Σ convention in the sky." and have informed our three sons we are spending their inheritance.

I think it must have a platinum case and a diamond encrusted keyboard.

I reckon you'd get change from $6K for the bits.

And as Tannin said "I's an Asus". I gave them away years ago in my builds.

You could have three 15" MacBook Pros for that price. And still have a thousand dollars change.

Which reminds me of the story I heard about the naming of that car. Which was that it was supposed to be named the "Stallion" but the Japanese difficulty pronouncing the English "L" meant things didn't quite end up that way. Probably an urban regend.
