    New Temporary Birding Spot...

Was looking at some wonderful image on Facebook from a local photographer (Lindsay Cupper) and he very kindly gave me a few direction to a swamp teeming with wildlife.
Went out the other day (bout ¾hr away) and again this morning. Unfortunately I got bogged this morning in the dark, so just went birding

This is what it looks like when you move to fast

Luckily Mr. Cupper turned up as I was leaving & towed me out.
He was there to setup a bird hide which I now have permission to use later in the week
If you replace the 'W' with 'T' in When, Where and What, you get the answer for each question.
CC more than welcome. Remember, I can't be offended so go for it. Feel free to post your ideas with an edit if you have time. Thanks in advance.

Wow, that's what I call a mess of birds! Great news for you about being able to use his hide.

Now you have somewhere to hide the next time you get bogged.
I'll confirm at least 10 Great Egrets in the photo.

Can't get there in the morning, but Wednesday's looking good.

This swamp is left behind after the recent floods and will eventually dry up...
Apparently they're all feeding here and breeding down the road about 500 meters away...not so good for photography there.

Talking with Lindsay this arvo and he said they were getting use to the hide...hope so

Wow, I can count at least 10 different species of birds but there are probably more. A bird lover's paradise!

Don't forget the Aerogard and something to drink when you head to the hide.

Just about every water loving/feeding bird that you could think of...too many for this little black duck to name!
