I had some money sitting in my PayPal account. This never ends well.
I got all excited and have purchased the following camera related items.
A WU-1a for my D7100. Hopefully will be helpful in sending the quick family shots to my wife and other family members quickly. It was under $40 so I won't lose much. I also loaded the app into my Sony z5. Fingers crossed.
QDSLR Dashboard. Thought it might be interesting to have a play with.
L bracket that fits the battery pack. Cheap.
Zomei z818 magnesium aluminium tripod with ball head. There's mixed reviews, mostly very good. It's not a Manfrotto, but I've used my current tripod three times in the year I've had it. Hopefully this will spur me on to use it some more.
Finally, I've had a devil of a time paying under $350 for a Tokina 11-16 for Nikon. One was listed on Gumtree for $200, and in Perth, but it was sold within a half hour of the ad being posted. Fingers are still crossed.
Now to wait for this stuff to arrive so I can use it.
