    Poo Ponds in Melbourne :-)

    Some time ago I asked about photographing birds in Melbourne and was recommended to go to the Western Treatment Plant (aka Poo Ponds). I went there today and it was wonderful - thousands of birds and dozens of species. Here is one of my favs from today.

    Very nice.

    For anyone else interested, you can just drop by the local beach of Melbourne and you'll see a poo beach, much bigger than a poo pond

    Got the ones in the FG. Silver Gulls, some oystercatchers.

    Not sure - I am a photographer more than a birder. Supposedly they fly between Melbourne and Siberia. Which is rather amazing.
