A new year, a new set of challenges.

For those of you newish to AP, to those of you who just forgot this goes on, for those of you who are a bit lazy or sometimes loose mojo this is a fun (or serious if your name is Jo) thing to do.
Over the years it's given me a reason to take so many photos I would simply not have taken otherwise.

Put a smile on my dial by getting involved. I'll repay the smile.

And here was me thinking when I saw this thread.. Oh Oh, Mark has just seen the new rule for this years challenges and has decided to post a Site Matters to express his concern about it.

I'd also like to encourage people to post at least one bird photo each month. Such a challenge.
Next week is "The letter A". So you can just post a photo tittled "A bird."
All that fits with a dumb rule.

That is ok. the rule only applies this week. I was just hoping you would have noticed it earlier.

. I am not sure a tittled bird photo would be appropriate though..
