Looking at the article feels like someone has purchased a really nice hidden advertisement.

Here is the original article as it appeared in Bride magazine. The link I placed above was to another photography forum. where they were discussing the article

Yes, generally STUPID and PITHY ravings of the illiterati socialite class, ESPecially the section
on "Technology". The equivalent would be to interview the captain and crew of a cruise ship and
ask myriad qustions on the engine type, fuel used, ship's ballast, methods of navigation...

Yes I was about to post that.
So I'll post the original stupidity quote from the original article,
"What kind of equipment do you use?"
"They should say either Cannon or Nikon, which are the most readily available professional cameras available," says Tiffani. "However, there are professional and amateur cameras in both brands. A professional camera should be a 'full format' camera. This will ensure that you can print large-scale prints easily."
I've had to many drinks to be 'full format' at this time of night.

I have a friend who shoots real estate and weddings. He changed from Pentax (before they had a full frame) to a Nikon D810 as he said people don't take you seriously unless you shoot with a full frame, despite the fact he was getting excellent results with his Pentax.

He should tell them to take their own photos or let him get on with the job. I kinda don't understand this sort of thing.

Yet, I wonder how many of those real estate agents actually know what full frame means..

And here I am thinking of using a bridge camera for my work - guess that's what I was doing wrong.

The photographer issued an apology. I suspect the amount of abuse they were getting on twitter/facebook etc would have been more than a handful of comments.

Well that's the last time I get married with them..

Isn't the definition of a mixed marriage where one party is a Nikon user while the other favoured Canon....?
    Pentax K3, K100D Super, Sigma 18-50, Takamur-A 28-80, Pentax DA 50-200, Sicor 80-200, Tamron 2X teleconverter

So says a Pentax user. Did you choose your partner because they had an Olympus camera?
    I know they wouldn't have a can/nikcon.

Not intentionally, but funnily enough my current missus had a nice little Olympus compact when I met her.....
