From the news item I heard on the radio today it appears that it has remained unreported for quite some time.
An "immediate" change of password may already be too late.
Thankfully I don't have an account with either.
Wonder what's going to happen when facebook suffers a major leakage of personal information ---- or has it already happened but due to privacy laws nobody has been told yet.
They said on the "nioose" it was a state-sponsored hack, but that ?Yahoo didn't want to name them.
(I think that'll do)
CC, Image editing OK.
So happened nearly two years ago ........ https://help.yahoo.com/kb/account/SL...pressions=true
And for those with yahoo stuff, a bit more info ...... https://help.yahoo.com/kb/account/SL...pressions=true
Hmm! Lark!!-y I ignored that advice a couple of days ago. Did not re-set pwd. Used a different browser.
Got into mail no (?apparent) trouble.
This was covered before earlier in the year
So If this hack was 2 years ago changing password earlier this year will suffice
cheers

Someone around here really needs to change their avatar not their password.
