I happened to be heading out through Barwon Heads on Saturday when this emerged. The rain was blowing straight at me so it was a bit hard to keep the front of the lens dry, lucky I had the 16-35mm ready on my camera. Have a great week everyone!

Awesome shot Nicholas and such great timing. Love how you captured the sheets of rain falling.

Thanks for the photo and I doubt the great week.
What else can one say? Thanks, and you have a good week too
I can not remember seeing a full rainbow before this. It is an interesting trick of the light that the falling rain is highlighted, or somehow more visible under the bow.
regards marty.
What the others said Very nice indeed.

Thank you everyone for your observations on rainbows and the week that was. My week was really great, though I am still pining for a wider lens at rainbow's end.

I could sell you a rainbow and you could afford a good one!

There is only one photo of full rainbows - it just gets recycled.

I don't want to buy a rainbow.
Weren't you supposed to be somewhere else?
