For any interested, this is open to professionals as well as amateurs.

Entries will be accepted from 1st June 2016 to 16th September 2016. No entries will be accepted after 00.01am 17th September 2016.
APA is open to both professional photographers and amateurs and enthusiasts.

Entry is $25 per image in any number of categories.

Yes that is pretty common these days. The price varies . $25 per images is on the high side , but for example :

Australian Photography Magazine Comp - $20 for 4 images
Moran Prize - $20 per image
Ken Duncan Real Photo Awards $60 for 5 images (I think)

There are countless others that charge - Headon Photo Awards , Peter Eastaway's Better Photography Magazine Comp etc etc.....
