Interesting accessory for those who shoot (?) from the car

Came across this interesting accessory which may be an aid for those who, like me, occasionally find the best way to sneak up on birds is in the car.

It was ostensibly designed for shooters, the rifle variety, as an aid to steady their firearms.

I can see it being quite useful to prop up your gear, particularly when using a big lens.

Tis an interesting idea...I've used a small bean bag sorta thing before, but it's been too low. I like how he stacks a few bits on to lift things up.

Might get an old foam mattress and cut some pieces out with the electric knife and save myself a few bucks I reckon

I keep a bag of rice in the car but it's also too low.

I reckon the foam idea, if it's not too soft, would work very well.

I'll drop into the local rubber store and see if they have any suitable off-cuts.
