    I did the same, went to JB HI Fi and got the 80d with the 18-135mm USM for $1699. Upgrading from the canon 550d. I actually felt physically ill from handing over that many $50 notes..lol

    Hi wetpixels, haven't used it yet. Waiting for my new memory card to arrive. Put the strap on, charged the battery and reading the manual

    The only thing I need at this point is a nice macro lens, but if my wife hears me...
