    AP still slow?

Am I the only one experiencing problems with AP? Some times it zips through as normal and other times it's like watching paint dry waiting for a post or my reply to load. I have found that when posting myself and after waiting for it to load if I hit the back arrow, then the forward arrow my post/reply is there. This is the only site I'm experiencing this with and during June when it was slow - I assumed my computer was at fault and cleared cookies etc. I did notice Warbler mentioned losing it sometimes but not sure whether he means the actual internet connection.

No, I've been having intermittent problems as well...quite often get an error message from Chrome asking to 'Wait?' or 'Kill this page'

I had just adopted the 'Wait and see what happens' attitude, till now

The last week has not been the best for me and only here on AP. I thought it was my ISP till I did a Speed Test that was around the same as usual.
Late last night was very slow though that could have been caused by it being Sunday day time over in the USA and its larger population.

I have noticed it slow occasionally, but certainly not a regular slowness. But will be interested to see what others say on this.

Yes, I have had difficulty accessing pages too. Time-outs and strangely losing my cursor at times.

Very Slow again for me around 3.15 this afternoon, so I went out looking for flies to shoot and I actually found one.
It is faster now when I previewed this post.

Last couple of nights some pages take time to load, no timing out though.
Night seems fine so far, but I haven't visited a picture thread yet.

Still playing up for me. First few posts I viewed this morning were fine. Then I started on that overrun bird section. Good speed, then slowed down considerably - again clicking the back arrow then forward helps get the post/reply to load . Speed came back for a couple of posts then snail pace once again. It seems to be punishing me with slowness the longer I spend viewing a post

OK here, Gazza. Tried other sites?

    - - - Updated - - -

Since writing ^that^ I have been trying to write that it just slowed down for me too for a few minutes.

Hard to say definitely, as now posts load quickly again. Other site OK.

It is odd, cause the server is running fine and whilst some get this message and slow downs, other are not experiencing it at the same time. I am not sure what the cause is.

Yeah, all other sites are Ok...not lightning speeds here, but it has been working fine apart from the odd time-out on AP (Our little backwater gets NBN soon, 4 - 6 weeks...)

    Screenshot-(63).jpg

    I'll just suffer it out for a while...cheers -

I gave up this morning. It seemed to keep freezing on me - I'd type a comment and then hit post quick reply and nothing, then I'd get a message like Gaz posted. Every other site I visited this morning worked fine and at normal speed. This gremlin is frustrating - I need my early morning forum fix with my coffee

I experienced the slowness for the last 40 minutes or so. It is odd, The server appears to be stable and ok, but the site front end is running like the server is overloaded.

Running chrome and FF on the same computer. FF is freezing up on the site and Chrome is working fine.

This test more or less eliminated the US - Australia network.
