US seem to offer more options but for us aussies it's pretty tough out there. thanks in advance
What have you done in relation to insurance on your previous overseas trips? (I checked out your website)

Ha, it was for a shorter period of time. And this time around ive invested in a stand alone video camera, so its entering a different category. Still using my photo lenses.

Back to What to take Overseas...

After the kids left home and the dogs passed on, we have had three overseas trips in the past three years. I have done them with just a Panasonic Travel Zoom and also with the full kit DSLR - four lenses, three flashes, filters, etc. May I offer this advice:

Never used a flash. Rarely used a longer zoom. Never used a GND or ND filter. Next trip I think I will take:

    - DSLR Camera
    - Charger
    - 18-55 mm kit lens + CPL
    - 10-20 mm Sigma
    - Travel Tripod
    - Remote controller

Of course, what you take depends on the type of trip you are taking. If you have a home base and are doing day trips take more. If you are packing and unpacking each night take less.
