    Comprehensive Pentax K-1 review

    Hello All,
Pentax Forums have just posted their review of the K-1 FF.
I haven't worked my way through all of it yet, but it does seem to be a comprehensive report.
You will find it here http://www.pentaxforums.com/reviews/...roduction.html

    Cheers,
    Terry

Excellent review and with some useful tips on getting the most out of the camera.

I am loving mine, and have not yet even scratched the surface of its capabilities.

I think it'll keep me busy for the longest time.
Pentax K-1, K-3 and some lovely, mostly Pentax, mostly prime lenses - DFA 15-30, 24-70, and 100 Macro, FA 31, 43, and 77 Ltd, DA* 200 & 50-135, DA 12-24, 20-40 (ltd), 15, 21, 35 (Ltd) Macro, 40, 50, plus a couple of manuals from way back and a few others for good luck.

That surface might get scratched if you fit one of the offending Sigma lenses

Yeah...I count myself fortunate having a preference for the lovely Pentax primes and not owning any of the Sigmas concerned.

It's only surface scratch, though, isn't it?

I have a Sigma 24-70 and that makes the faintest mark, hardly visible. If all are like that it makes me wonder what the fuss is about.

    Cheers,
    Terry
