Spectacles...

I've recently started wearing vari-focal glasses (just prior to starting photography) I have adjusted the diopter (?) but still seem to keep missing the focus.

I'm confident my camera lenses are good I'm sure it's operator error any tips to help me improve the focus.

What camera and lens are you using? AF on spot or matrix or ...
What are you taking photos of? mmm , birds, get that shutter speed up. Nothing to do with focus.
Post a couple of photos to demonstrate what the problem is.
