    BackgroundS for Currawong.

This is I think my best image of a black bird. It was scavenging around our campsite. I had discounted it because of the dark close background, but wondered if a better background may lift it. Logically I started with a lighter BG for a black bird, then just for variety tried a darker black and thought the result was quite good. What do you think?
    cheers marty.

Hi Marty, I prefer the 2nd with the darker background. It's making the subject appear lighter so the eye is naturally drawn to it.
If you replace the 'W' with 'T' in When, Where and What, you get the answer for each question.
CC more than welcome. Remember, I can't be offended so go for it. Feel free to post your ideas with an edit if you have time. Thanks in advance.

Gazza, so do I, which I find interesting and counter intuitive. Logically, black should stand out best against lighter colours.
