Problem with bulb mode

Hi William - that it precisely how I am operating it. I used the quick response remote setting in the menu setting. I must say I do miss the ability to just choose remote on the dial as was possible on my D7000.

Hi Andrew - My Phottix is IR-Nikon FDS#0312. Still works perfectly for exposures up to 30 sec so I'm not too concerned.
