    Tiny Jumping Spider

Taken beside Murray River near Mildura. About 4mm wide, possibly s-Mopus mormon, and juvenile. I was surprised at the quality of the big crop. This is the oly ED14-42 L "kit" lens, but given optimal conditions and settings, I thought it produced very reasonable results. I will be interested to see how much better the 12-40 pro lens can do.

The crop gives new meaning to the term fore-eyes.

Sitting in Rivergum shade beside the Murray, and watching it pass, the spider was the highlight of my day.
