    Viewing Photos Posted on AP

I am enjoying AP. I log on every morning and afternoon after work to see any new posts and provide my humble input if I can.
I have a little annoyance that is bugging me. A lot of photos posted I cannot see the whole photo on my phone - right side in particular. It would be real nice to be able to hit the photo and see all of it.
Is there any way AP can fix this?
    Cheers

What are you using, AR? Is it the likes of Tap-a-Talk, or Forum Runner?
Can you not scroll, shrink the image?
    CC, Image editing OK.

to be frank, using a phone to view the images on the site is not doing them justice. The site is setup for photographers and as such we aim it at those using larger screens that a phone to view the site and photos.

I use a 10" tablet and have the same problem. Sometimes the image will scroll horizontally , mostly not.

    No problems on my desktop(s).

Yes if I view on my pc no problems. Its just on my phone it doesn't always show the full photo. Just thought it might be something you could have a look at Rick for future IT upgrades.

The issue is not just phone related.
I Have the same problem on my 8" android tablet and 10" iPad.
I don't really expect to get full photos on my phone, but would expect to get better viewing on the iPad or even small form tablet.

For mobile devices if you install one of the following Apps

ForumRunner (native App for the site, designed by the people who write the forum software the site runs on)
    Tapatalk (third party App)

We have the site-side software for these installed on the server, and have had for years. Then once installed, open the apps, sign-up, search for 'ausphotography' and login in. Photos are then resized for your devices. So the fix to the software, that you are seeking, is already available to you.

If I waited until sat in front of my large, calibrated screen to post you'd be PMing me about not posting enough pretty quickly. I'm currently grabbing 15 minutes of time while my son does his swimming lesson. Even at work over lunch the screen is big but not great and certainly not calibrated (that's if I'm not squeezing some other activity in). If I comment on something that could be a function of the device I'm viewing on then I query rather than comment, or stay quiet and maybe follow up later.

Thanks Rick. I have tried both in the past and have not had much luck with them showing the photos in all posts.
I remember this was discussed some time ago without resolution.
I tried Tapatalk again recently and the same issue occurred, broken link symbol instead of photos.

    Shows up in the browser.
No sure if this still occurs in forum runner.
