    My sick baby is back

My Nikon D750 is finally back from the doctor after having a shutter transplant. She’s feeling very tender, probably as a result of the anaesthetic, so I will be gentle with her for the first couple of days whilst she recovers. I have to admit that going back to my D700 for the last 3 weeks has made me realise why I love my D750 and why my D700 is now confined to the ranks of child in jail…you still love them, but you wish they were better and you don’t talk about them.

That possibly explains why I found it quicker, easier all round and actually cheaper to take 2 bodies to Sydney when warranty work needed to be done ------

Sorry, but I don't have anything positive to say about CC based on past experience and I hope your body is back to operating specs just fine.

Camera clinic shipped it to Nikon which I assume is in Sydney so that would explain the difference in time. They didn't do this work themselves.

My first experience with them has been fine, but it's the first time I used them.

I also went back to my Nikon D3000 and when i cropped my bird photos it was like ISO nightmare... so i am taking time to sort photos out

You don't have to send it immediately so wait until a convenient time. Have you checked whether your serial is effected?

My D750 is affected according to the serial number but I have not have the slightest problem with it. I have about 11,000 activations on it so far. I think I will wait for quite a while before sending it in.
