Any ideas on a DIY humidity cabinet.

I want to build a humidity controlled cabinet to store my cameras and lenses.

    Any ideas would be welcomed.

What about a humidor cabinet?....look up plans for DIY stuff on YouTube maybe?
If you replace the 'W' with 'T' in When, Where and What, you get the answer for each question.
CC more than welcome. Remember, I can't be offended so go for it. Feel free to post your ideas with an edit if you have time. Thanks in advance.

I use a more or less airtight cupboard with a dehumidifier which cost about$60. Works well. Of course that's assuming you want to reduce humidity rather than increase it.

    Google it !

Getting what ever you use for the cabinet airtight is the challenge.

I tried various 'airtight' containers and rechargeable desiccant packs and eventually settled on a Wonderful Dehumidifier Cabinet (Model AD-026C). At <$200 I don't know whether it would be worth the mucking around to build one.

PS: eBay have a 20% Off Promo for the next two days.
