Yesterday, I noticed these flying around a newly blossomed gum. I tried for hours to get a shot of one, but they where too small and too fast and did not stop on any blossom. In the end, as my new knee was giving out I volleyed off 30+ random shots hopping to catch one. Today they are not there. alas this is the only image I captured. Can anyone tell me what they are. I have been through the web and my books, but there are just too many small flying insects.
