    I'm an Irfanview user from way back it may be time for me to change - will check out this FastStone thanks for info
    As far as screen capture goes, I use the Snipping Tool that came with Windows

    And just to add on

    Wow, didn't know about win+prnt scn!
    I've been using JUST print screen to capture the full screen for years...I wonder why people are also adding ALT?

    Reckon that works well, especially if you don't want to capture the whole screen and crop later. Crop as you capture.
