    RingFlash

Does anyone have a Yongnuo ring flash , or other configuration mounted on an Olympus?

Yesterday I needed help, but today the problem was resolved. The YN14EX flash works well on manual, and I am pleased with the results, but I would still appreciate any hints you can give me for it's best use.

'Standard' Olympus ring flashes work on the various FTs lenses 14-54 MkI, 50-200 MkI and f2/50 macro (IIRC - I.e. check ...) . Not sure if there are any third party makers for mFTs lenses.

Another alternative is after-market LED lamps. Batwing LED lights from Bunnings seem to work quite well. Generally on sale about $30 ... .

John, it looks like I should have checked out the Batwing LEDs before embarking on my failed DIY venture.

Marty, we all live and learn. I wish I had known when 20 y.o. what I know now, nearly 50 years later.

The problem with wisdom is that it's wasted on the old (specially in ageist Australia ... ).

The problem with youth is that it's wasted on the young ...

    Hmmm ...

Anyway, give the rechargeable batwings a fly and see how they perform.
